TCH Specialty Pharmacy Openings
Inside-face CFRP reinforcement around new openings in existing tiltwall panels.
Delta Structural Technology completed CFRP strengthening for the TCH Specialty Pharmacy project. The scope addressed new openings in existing tiltwall panels, with reinforcement concentrated on the inside face. The project illustrates how an existing wall can be adapted around a coordinated opening and reinforcement layout.

Project challenge
The March 2024 proposal described ten openings and referenced structural sheet S3.04 and architectural sheet A4.1. The details differentiated the reinforcement at the jambs from the reinforcement above and below the openings. Alignment between architectural openings and the structural strengthening was therefore fundamental to the scope.
Project approach
The proposal called for carbon fiber at the inside face of the window jambs and at the top and bottom of the openings. Its work sequence included submittal approval, material procurement, protection of existing finishes, layout, and surface grinding before the reinforcement application.
Delivery and coordination
Delta coordinated its scope with SpawGlass, connecting the opening layout to the reinforcement details and the preparation of the inside wall face. Procurement followed submittal approval, while protection and layout preceded grinding and composite application.
Project significance
Reinforcement at the jambs and above and below each opening connected the new opening geometry with the surrounding tiltwall panel. The inside-face treatment concentrated the specialist installation within a defined area of the existing wall.
