Corrosion of steel reinforcement is one of the main durability problems facing reinforced concrete infrastructures worldwide. FRP is a successful, efficient, long-lasting solution in repair of corrosion damages. The role of FRP repair is twofold: first to restore lost flexural capacity due to steel corrosion; second to provide resistance to handle expansive forces caused by corrosion of steel.
